Our Effie design is a Baby Knitting Pattern for a Matinee Jacket in two sizes 14″ and 16″ chest, approx ages Newborn and 3-6 months.
The 14″ size needs 2 x 100g balls of DK yarn and the 16″ size needs 3 x 100g DK yarn. The yarn used to knit “Effie” was NAKO Elite Baby DK (100% Ani-Pilling Acrylic).
The needle sizes are 3.5mm and 4mm.
The Pattern is suitable for someone with a little experience of knitting and uses combinations of garter stitch, stocking stitch, 1 x 1 rib, knit 2 stitches together, purl 2 stitches together, yarn forward and make 1.
